Strive to build a high-level research team in humanities and social sciences, strive to cultivate and create a group of outstanding young and middle-aged talents in social sciences, promote social science workers to stick to their social science missions, fulfill the responsibilities of the times, take the initiative, base themselves in Hangzhou, and study Hangzhou, and service Hangzhou. A few days ago, according to the relevant express requirements of the Hangzhou Federation of Science and Technology, Liu Dandan and Fang Fang of our school were awarded the title of "Hangzhou Outstanding Young Talents in Philosophy and Social Sciences" after personal declaration, school recommendation, and the organizational assessment and comprehensive review of Hangzhou Federation of Social Sciences.

Dr. Liu Dandan

Doctor of Tourism Management, the main research directions are: eco-tourism, low-carbon city and sustainable development. She has participated in dozens of projects such as major projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, humanities and social science projects of the Ministry of Education, and philosophy and society projects of Fujian Province. Her scientific research results have been published in important academic journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Ecological Indicators, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Acta Ecologica Sinica, Mountain Research and Journal of Natural Resources.

Dr Fang Fang

In 2020, she graduated from the School of Philosophy, Zhejiang University, majoring in Leisure. From 2017 to 2018, she participated in the doctoral joint training program of the University of California, Berkeley, funded by the China Scholarship Council. From 2020 to 2022, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for the Study of Phenomenology and Mindfulness of Thought of the School of Philosophy, Zhejiang University. Scientific research results are published in such academic journals as Tourism Tribune, Journal of Zhejiang University, Journal of Guangxi Minzu University, Review of Chinese Phenomenology and Philosophy, Journal of Guangxi University, Commercial Research, etc. Monograph: Between Imagination and Memory: A Phenomenology of Tourism, published in 2022.

In recent years, the school has always focused on academic frontier issues and major practical issues in Hangzhou's economic, social and cultural development, as well as the central work of the municipal party committee and government as well as Hangzhou's current major work tasks. The International School of Cultural Tourism actively responded to the call of the school, anchored the goal of struggle, maintained strategic determination and patience, vigorously introduced high-level talents, and built a high-level social science research team to promote our school's humanities and social science research to a new level.
